Mottram is vertically integrated from the sourcing, grading and sorting of titanium scrap over the custom-made ferro titanium production to the analytical services with an on-site laboratory.
The Mottram laboratory is one of the most experienced FeTi laboratories in the business.
The lab is fully equipped to perform oil & moisture determinations, scrap and FeTi analysis for internal purposes as well as for several external customers.
Acting as an independent unit but under the Mottram flag, operated by skilled staff it runs analytical techniques including ICP-OES and Leco analysis on C S N O.
Turnaround times for analysis are usually 48 - 72 hours but we can offer a 24 hour express service at an additional cost.
The laboratory can also offer analysis on various metals: steel, nickel, copper, aluminium and their alloys as well as other ferro alloys.
